NoTrace IPTV

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 9, 2026

NoTrace IPTV is a standalone IPTV player. It does not include channels, subscriptions, provider accounts, ads, analytics, telemetry, or a developer-operated backend.

Information You Enter

You may enter provider profile details such as a display name, provider server URL, username, password, M3U playlist URL, and XMLTV EPG URL. These details are stored locally on your device so the app can connect to the sources you configure.

Provider credentials are encrypted at rest on the device. M3U playlist URLs, XMLTV URLs, provider URLs, and stream URLs can contain tokens or account details, so they are treated as sensitive. Legacy locally stored credentials are migrated into encrypted storage when first read.

The app may also store provider-scoped catalog, EPG listings, favorites, recents, playback resume positions, hidden or locked category preferences, custom groups, probe results, VOD metadata, series metadata, and sync status locally for app functionality.

If you set a parental-control PIN, the app stores a local hash of that PIN. The PIN is not sent to the developer.

Network Activity

The app contacts only URLs needed for app functionality:

The developer does not receive your provider credentials, channel list, viewing history, or stream URLs.

The app can export a settings JSON file for backup. The default export excludes passwords and does not include full stream URLs.

HTTP Provider Warning

If you configure an http:// provider, playlist, XMLTV, or stream URL, credentials, tokens, stream requests, EPG requests, and media traffic may travel unencrypted between your device and that service. Prefer https:// URLs when available.

Logs

Debug logs are local to the device and are intended for troubleshooting. Logs avoid full provider URLs, playlist URLs, XMLTV URLs, stream URLs, usernames, and passwords.

Sharing and Collection

The developer does not collect or share personal data through this app. There is no analytics, advertising, telemetry, or developer-operated backend.

Data Deletion

You can delete stored provider data by deleting a provider profile, clearing the app's data, or uninstalling the app from Android system settings. Deleting a provider profile removes the provider-scoped catalog, EPG cache, favorites, recents, playback positions, probes, and personalization data for that provider.

Children's Privacy

NoTrace IPTV is a general-audience media player and is not directed at children. The developer does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
